Welcome to the Webgains Advertiser Spotlight. To begin, could you please tell us a little bit about Nordgreen?
Nordgreen was founded by Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt, and officially launched in 2017 with the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign. We now offer five distinct watch collections for men and women, all of which incorporate a refined sense of aesthetics, functionality and value. From day one onward, we aspired to create high quality accessories as well as spread awareness for humanitarian and environmental causes. Our unique Giving Back Program enables our customers to acquire a luxurious timepiece whilst also contributing to one of three important, charitable initiatives.

Can you please summarise Nordgreen’s core values and what the brand stands for?
We want to imbue both our products and our company culture with green and social virtues. This materialises in various ways; eco-friendly packaging, nearly carbon-neutral headquarters in Copenhagen, participation of our different markets in more localised NGOs’ projects, among many other things.
What would you say are the biggest benefits for a publisher working with your brand?
The perks of working with us are manyfold – our diverse, socially and environmentally attuned clientele being only one of them. We are a company that places big emphasis not just on the product, what it looks and feels like, but also on what it represents in the face of fast-paced consumer culture. We do not consider ourselves perfect by any means. We recognise that there is a lot to do and improve, but we believe that honesty and transparency can fuel further conversations and motivate progress.

What can you tell us about your audience? What types of publishers do you work best with?
Our audience shares our values and therefore has a great focus on sustainable and long-lasting products. We have learned that we work best with publishers that share minimalistic feeds and provide a broad portfolio of sustainable companies and products.
So, what makes Nordgreen an exciting company?
Nordgreen was the fastest growing startup in all of Denmark in 2019. We have been able to tell that what we believe most in truly resonates with people, which has allowed us to sustain these successes and work with inspiring people from all around the world, including through collaborations with Danish pop star Christopher and influencer, philanthropist and style icon Mathilde Gøhler.

Does Nordgreen have any exciting plans coming up in 2022?
2022 has had and will have great things in store for us and especially our customers – not all of which we can speak on just yet. But we did recently introduce a vibrant selection of new, colourful dials for some of our most popular models as part of our Spring/Summer 22 campaign. We’ve also seen a great pay-off in regards to our work with our partner NGOs and their efforts towards better health, education, and woodland conditions in Africa, Asia, and South America, respectively.
