Rosie is one of our Account Directors here at Webgains. She has worked in the affiliate industry for 8 years, previously in agency and publisher roles. Rosie has worked in both London and Sheffield (which is where she is from originally!). She loves London and has lived here for 5 years now and has been at Webgains for 2 of those years.

Hey Rosie! Thanks for taking part in our latest meet the team! So, tell us how do you like to start your working day?

With a cup of tea and some fresh air!

Sounds like a very good start to us, can you tell us what do you do at Webgains and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?

I currently manage one of our account management squads here at Webgains. I support the team with their clients, and act as a point of escalation. I also currently work between the London and Manchester AM teams which keeps it varied!

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

Launching Move at Home with MoveGB! They are offering a fantastic online solution to keep everyone fit during the current covid-19 isolation period.

And what’s a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?

Not valuing happiness and wellness at work as much as career progression. Everyone needs a good balance of both to be happy in their job!

They certainly do and we definitely support a balance of happiness & wellness in the workplace here at Webgains! So, Rosie who would you say has influenced you the most when it comes to how you approach your work?

Anyone who stresses the importance of enjoying your job as it is where you spend the majority of your time 😊

What has been your experience at working at Webgains so far? 

A friendly and incredibly helpful working environment. Webgains really value their staff and stand by their motto of ‘never stop learning’! I have progressed fairly quickly since I started, and that is down to the fantastic management and progression opportunities offered.

The genuinely caring management team & variety of learning opportunities.

Having a varied role, and a fun working environment.

And lastly Rosie, what’s your secret talent that no one knows about?

Running our Friday pizza team here at Webgains 😊 (big fan). I can also do a pretty good floss!
